To make up for all of the drops going on lately, I bring you a new character!

Meet Trafalgar Law, from One Piece fame.

In the universe of Whispering Rock, Law was what one might call a psychic supervillain. In other words, he's the kind of guy that Whispering Rock is training potential new recruits to fight. Or... he was, before striking a deal with Interpol and the Psychonauts to work for them in exchange for amnesty for previous crimes. Feel free to have your character know of him, either by name or ones of his monickers: the Dark Doctor or the Surgeon of Death.

Said villain-turned-Psychonaut is now entering Whispering Rock as its resident medical officer as well as its Astral Projection counselor. His classes will take place in his own personal yellow submarine, which is now mysteriously in the lake. Sweet deal.

Also, this is Shika, player of a bubblegum princess. Yo.

I'm Kuma and I'm going to be playing Sora from Kingdom Hearts here at WR! His full name is Sora Kaipo here, and he's from Hawaii. I'll be making some posts on his journal later regarding his backstory but he specializes in Astral Projection, primarily when he sleeps.

Sorry I haven't said anything sooner, I've been busy with work and school. I do both full time, so sometimes I'm awfully slow, which I apologize for! I'm super excited to get to RP with all you guys though!

Hello and a hopefully pleasant Valentine's Day, Whispering Rockers - this is Blue, player of 2 from 9 a.k.a. Martin Durant, here to say two things:

1. I do apologize for being scarce the past so long - especially to Komui's player, my/Martin's first thread with whom I still haven't followed up on, and for not having tagged into the log at the Sanctuary yet. I hope nobody minds me playing catch-up with him - but anyway, I'll be getting back into things!

2. I'll be starting in on doing so with another character.

If you'd all be so kind as to welcome Edgar Teglee to Whispering Rock for the summer!

Edgar in fact hails from the Psychonauts universe as it is - and for those here not familiar with the canon beyond this RP, Edgar is a painter with a penchant for black velvet canvases and a former patient at Thorney Towers - and half-agreed half-was-forced to stay in the building long after it closed until he could break his obsessive-compulsive streak, none of that a problem any longer thanks to Raz.

(He is also at least sixty-five years old - while I tweaked his app and started to think properly about the fact that he grew up in the Fifties, I wondered whether or not I'd done my math right on Martin on the fact that he might actually be even older than him. But that's neither here nor there.)

That said, he is not a psychic - one can imagine that the Psychonauts let a filthy muggle into the camp as a gesture to someone involved in the incident that prompted the recruitment of their youngest-ever agent. But as for how he'll be spending his summer at Whispering Rock, he'll be serving as an art teacher to provide a break from the usual paranormal curriculum, as per suggestion of moderator James. I haven't quite settled on times and days for it - but once I do, it'll appear in a network post!

Thank you all so much, I apologize again, I look forward to getting back into things, an~nd admittedly being admitted the chance to bring Edgar in has made my day.

She's 16, an Invisibility specialist, and Rose's cousin/adopted older sister. Rox is perky, friendly, highly social, and she can kick ass if she needs to. Also, a computer whiz and hacker and she's getting over her alcoholism. This will be the first summer of sobriety for her, yay!

hi guys, my name is caddyl and i'm gonna be playing violet from a series of unfortunate events here! violet is that one girl that emily browning played in the movie with jim carrey that was kinda weird but kinda neat at the same time because billy connoly was in it; but that doesn't really apply here because i'm obviously playing her from the ridiculously long book series. anyway, she is a fourteen year old super inventor, a junior camper, and she is pretty good at doing the psy-shield thing.

i'm actually like 3/4 of my way through my first run of psychonauts at the moment and it's really fun, so i'm keen on getting into this game. i'm stuck on the milkman conspiracy currently because my computer keeps freezing during the final boss fight :(

My name is Plus, and I'm here to bring you Randall Ascot from Professor Layton and Miracle Mask, a game all about puzzles and friendship and puzzles and mysteries and British accents and puzzles and all that good stuff. He happened to start his psychic training late due to Complicated Family Circumstances, and currently has amnesia so he doesn't actually remember said Complicated Family Circumstances. He may also be bordering on a little bit unstable because of said amnesia, but then again aren't we all just a little bit insane here?

That said, he's 17 years old, and has only been attending camp for approximately 3 to 4 years. This will be his first year as a Junior Counselor for Confusion, and he is more than welcome to help out anyone in any way he can. Especially if it involves puzzles, history, archaeology or ADVENTURE.

Former Special Agent Francis York Morgan (please, call him York, it's what everyone calls him) has now been side-graded to Whispering Rock Precognition Counselor Francis York Morgan (please, call him York, that's... well, you get the picture). He's going to be residing in his "lab", which is really just a sparse cabin in the wilderness that's going to act as his base of operations while on campus.

I, on the other hand, am probably going to be quietly shaking with glee and nervous anticipation because I love Psychonauts, I love Deadly Premonition, and the fact that I get to mash the two together is freaking amazing.
